Privacy
Whetstone Group is a small consulting practice. This page explains exactly what we collect when you visit our site or use our contact form, and what we do with it. We've kept it short on purpose.
What the contact form collects
When you submit the form, we receive:
- Your name and email address (required)
- Your organization, if you choose to share it
- The services you're interested in, your team size, your timeline, and any notes you write
- Your IP address and browser user-agent (used only for spam prevention and rate-limiting)
Submissions are sent to hello@whetstonegroup.ai and stored on our infrastructure for up to 90 days as a backup. After that, only the email record in our inbox remains.
Who else sees it
We use a few service providers to run the site:
- Cloudflare — hosts the site and processes form submissions. Cloudflare also runs our anti-spam check (Turnstile) and provides privacy-friendly traffic analytics that don't use cookies.
- Resend — sends the notification email and the confirmation we send back to you.
- Google Workspace — where we read and reply to your message.
We don't sell, share, or rent your information. We don't use it to advertise to you.
Cookies and tracking
We don't set any tracking cookies. We don't use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any third-party advertising tools. Cloudflare's analytics work without cookies.
Your choices
You can ask us to delete what we have on you at any time. Email hello@whetstonegroup.ai with the subject line "delete my data" and we'll do it within seven days.
Changes
If we change this page, we'll update the date at the top. Material changes will be highlighted on the homepage for at least 30 days.
